Play bass
Playing technique
Bass uses the same fretting, picking, strumming, bending, sliding, muting, and tapping gestures as guitar. It has its own tuning and part. Pick a string while holding a fret, or play it open. Use the viewport controls to reach higher frets. Strong Tapping and handedness are device preferences shared with guitar.
Record and edit
Record/Overdub counts in before capturing your performance. Finish take keeps it; Undo last take reverses the recording pass. Edit part opens the recorded-note timeline, and Tab opens detailed notation editing. Chord and sequence controls are available in the corresponding bass workspaces.
Sound and balance
Tone opens bass sound controls and effects. Tuning affects the live instrument without transposing existing recorded pitches. Session Mix changes bass loudness, pan, mute, and solo. When playing guitar over recorded bass, the bass badge can help you follow the bass line.
