Sound and starting point
Soft clipping with focused mids and some clean signal retained through the drive stage. Useful for tightening an already driven amp.
Overdrive
Increases soft clipping and sustain. Lower settings can push an amp while preserving more note definition.
Tone
Changes the balance of dark and bright frequencies. Compare both ends at matched volume, then choose a position that fits the backing.
Level
Sets this stage’s output. Use it to match bypassed loudness; raising it can drive the next stage harder.
Use in the rig
Add this module from the effect catalogue and select its position before amp, after amp, or after cabinet. Use the module enable switch to compare bypassed sound. Hold and drag its chain card to reorder; Duplicate makes another instance and Remove deletes it. In a session, automation can change its controls over the loop. Save sound preset stores the rig for reuse.
