Use grooves and backing parts
Choose and preview
Browse the available grooves, narrow them by the displayed style, meter, tempo, or difficulty filters, and use Listen to preview. The destination and included-instrument controls determine whether you are choosing drums, bass, or both. Use the musical root and sound options shown to fit the backing to your session.
Apply deliberately
Apply/Use commits the selected musical material to the destination part. Check whether sound settings are included. Listen through the loop after applying, because fitting a shorter source to a longer instrument can repeat it and fitting to a shorter length can trim it.
New arrangement
For a complete starting arrangement, use New Session > Session presets. This creates an independent session and applies the preset's starting mix balance rather than replacing part of your current session.
