Drum kit and individual sound controls
Kit choice
From Drums, use the sliders button (Kit) or the instrument menu to open kit sound controls. This is separate from the Kit playing mode. Choose a drum sound preset or the kit selector. Changing the kit changes the samples, while your recorded rhythm remains the part. Tap a kit piece to audition adjustments. Save sound preset stores the kit and sound settings for reuse.
Room, decay, and damping
Room adds space around the kit. Decay controls the room tail, while damping softens its brightness. Reduce room or decay when fast hits become indistinct.
Punch and body
Punch adds density. Kick weight adds low end, Snare body adds warmth, and Tom body adds depth and sustain. Saturation gently rounds kick and snare. Make small changes in context rather than maximizing every control.
Individual kit pieces
Each piece has level, pan, tuning, and damping controls. Level changes that piece within the kit; pan places it in stereo. Tuning changes pitch, and damping shortens/softens its ringing. Tuning and damping apply to new hits. Session Mix changes the whole drum instrument's level.
