Spring Reverb · individual module
Sound and starting point
A spring-style reverberation with controls for size, movement, reflections, and shaking. Start with a restrained Mix and explore one control at a time.
Spring Reverb · Chaos
Adds irregular movement to the spring model. Higher settings make the tail less stable and more animated.
Spring Reverb · Damp
Darkens the spring tail by damping high frequencies. Use it to tame metallic brightness.
Spring Reverb · Decay
Sets how long the reverberation persists. Short tails keep rhythmic parts clear; long tails fill gaps between notes.
Spring Reverb · Mix
Blends the original dry signal with the processed wet signal. Start modestly to keep the note attack clear.
Spring Reverb · Refl.
Changes the distribution of spring reflections. Listen for changes in density and texture rather than treating it as a simple volume control.
Spring Reverb · Shake
Excites the spring model as though it were shaken. Return it to its resting value before triggering another shake; use a low mix while experimenting.
Spring Reverb · Size
Changes the simulated space or spring size. Larger settings change the spread and character of the tail; balance with decay and mix.
Spring Reverb · Spin
Changes the spring model’s dispersive character. Compare the texture and metallic movement of the tail.
Use in the rig
Add this module from the effect catalogue and select its position before amp, after amp, or after cabinet. Use the module enable switch to compare bypassed sound. Hold and drag its chain card to reorder; Duplicate makes another instance and Remove deletes it. In a session, automation can change its controls over the loop. Save sound preset stores the rig for reuse.
