Edit a recorded part

Select a note

From an instrument choose Edit part. Tap a note in the timeline to select it. The timeline shows each note's location, duration, and recorded expression. Empty parts direct you back to the instrument to record.

Guitar and bass controls

PITCH − and PITCH + move the selected note by a semitone. EARLIER and LATER move its start. SHORTER and LONGER change its duration. DELETE removes the selected note. The recording-passes control lets you work with takes. For precise fret, rhythm, selection, and technique editing, open Tab.

Keys parts

The keys take editor displays the recorded keyboard pitches and timing. Select a note before changing it. Use the instrument's playing surface to record new chords or arpeggios; guitar/bass tab is not the keys editor.

Recording passes and quantise

Open Passes to manage an overdub recording. Choose Whole part or an individual Take. Quantise moves note starts to the selected grid; Off restores recorded timing. Bends, slides, and note lengths move with each note. Delete selected take removes only the chosen take and is available when a single take is selected. Undo recording edit reverses an available edit; Done closes the dialog.
