Smooth Reverb · individual module
Sound and starting point
A diffuse reverb with filtered tails. Use Low Cut and High Cut to keep its space clear of bass and harsh treble.
Smooth Reverb · Decay
Sets how long the reverberation persists. Short tails keep rhythmic parts clear; long tails fill gaps between notes.
Smooth Reverb · High Cut
Removes high frequencies above the chosen cutoff. Lower it for a darker effect tail; raise it for more brightness.
Smooth Reverb · Low Cut
Removes low frequencies. Increase the cutoff to tighten lows; reduce it to retain more body.
Smooth Reverb · Mix
Blends the original dry signal with the processed wet signal. Start modestly to keep the note attack clear.
Smooth Reverb · Relax
Makes the reverb pre-delay respond to playing level. Higher settings give stronger level-dependent spacing before the tail; compare hard and soft notes at the same decay setting.
Use in the rig
Add this module from the effect catalogue and select its position before amp, after amp, or after cabinet. Use the module enable switch to compare bypassed sound. Hold and drag its chain card to reorder; Duplicate makes another instance and Remove deletes it. In a session, automation can change its controls over the loop. Save sound preset stores the rig for reuse.
