Create a 2nd Guitar part

Start from a recorded guitar

On its Session Home card, choose 2nd Guitar. Premium is required. Select a natural double or a twin-lead harmony and review the options shown. The source needs recorded notes; chord preset buttons alone are not a recorded part.

Double and harmony

Double creates another performance with subtle timing and picking differences. Harmony creates a line a third above a recorded single-note lead, using the displayed session key. Listen previews the result; Stop ends the audition. Check the whole phrase, particularly bends and notes outside the key. Add guitar commits it; Cancel leaves the session as it was.

Mix the result

The new guitar is independent, with its own sound and part. RiffJam spreads the pair left and right automatically. Undo restores the session. Refine the two channels in Mix: keep the added guitar lower for subtle width or give it a distinct tone for twin lead. The eight-instrument session limit still applies.
