Muff Drive · individual module
Sound and starting point
The fuzz-clipping part of a Muff-style sound without its separate tone circuit. Pair with Muff Tone when you want both stages.
Muff Drive · Harmonics
Changes the clipping circuit’s harmonic character. Compare on held notes and chords; it is a tone/texture control, not a final volume control.
Muff Drive · Level
Sets this stage’s output. Use it to match bypassed loudness; raising it can drive the next stage harder.
Muff Drive · n stages
Chooses how many fuzz-clipping stages are used. Compare one stage with several before setting the final Level. Choices: 1 Stage, 2 Stages, 3 Stages, 4 Stages.
Muff Drive · Sustain
Increases fuzz drive and compression, making notes linger. Reduce it when chords lose definition.
Muff Drive · High Quality
Selects the processor’s higher-quality processing path. Compare its tone and device load; it can cost more processing time. Choices: Off, On.
Muff Drive · Smoothing
Changes the fuzz clipping response and texture. Sweep around the centre to compare a sharper edge with a smoother response; rebalance output afterwards.
Use in the rig
Add this module from the effect catalogue and select its position before amp, after amp, or after cabinet. Use the module enable switch to compare bypassed sound. Hold and drag its chain card to reorder; Duplicate makes another instance and Remove deletes it. In a session, automation can change its controls over the loop. Save sound preset stores the rig for reuse.
